Monster Marbles Privacy Policy
- No account, no sign-in. You never give us a name, email address or date of birth. Your progress and settings are saved only on your device.
- The game sends nothing to our own servers — it does not talk to any IKGames server at all.
- To improve the game and fix bugs, it can send usage statistics and crash reports through Google's Firebase. This is off until you agree when you first open the game; if you decline you can still play everything, and you can change your mind any time under Settings (see section 2).
- The game shows rewarded video ads from Google AdMob, only when you tap an ad button. Google processes some device and ad data to serve them (see section 2).
- Monster Marbles is intended for users aged 13 and over and is not directed to children. All ad requests ask for non-personalized ads only.
1. What we collect ourselves
- Nothing from inside the game. There is no account, no login and no cloud save. Your progress (the furthest wave and night you reached), settings and which tips you have seen are stored in the app's own storage on your device and never uploaded to us.
- The game asks only for the Internet and vibration permissions. It does not request access to your location, camera, microphone, contacts, photos or files.
- Emails you send us: if you write to us, we receive your email address and message and use them only to reply and handle your request.
2. Third-party services: Google AdMob and Firebase
Ads: Google AdMob (Google Mobile Ads SDK)
Monster Marbles is free and supported by rewarded video ads. An ad plays only when you tap an ad button (it shows a play icon and the reward: reroll the three choices, take all three, or revive), and you get that reward for watching. There are no interstitial or banner ads, and you can play the whole game without watching any.
Ads are provided by Google. To request and show ads, the Google Mobile Ads SDK built into the game collects and processes the following data directly. We do not receive this raw data; we only see aggregated statistics in the AdMob console, such as impression counts and revenue.
| Data | Purpose |
|---|---|
| Device identifiers, such as app instance and app set identifiers, and the advertising ID where the system and Google's policies allow it | Serving and displaying ads, frequency capping, measuring ad performance, preventing fraud and abuse, security, and diagnosing SDK problems |
| IP address, and the approximate location derived from it (country or city level, not precise location) | |
| Device and app information: model, OS version, language, screen size, network type, app version and similar | |
| Ad interaction and diagnostic data: ad impressions, taps, completion, and SDK performance and error information |
Consent in the EEA, UK and Switzerland: where the law requires it, Google's consent form is shown before ads are requested, and Settings → Privacy options lets you review or change your choice later.
How Google uses this data is described here:

Analytics and crash reporting (Firebase)
The game includes Google Analytics for Firebase (to understand how far players get and which marbles and features are used, so we can tune the game) and Firebase Crashlytics (to collect crash and error reports, so we can fix bugs). Google provides both as our data processor.
Off until you agree: when you first open the game it asks whether you agree to send usage statistics and crash reports. Until you agree, the game sends no data to these two services. If you decline, nothing is sent and the whole game still works. After you agree, the following data is collected:
| Data | Purpose |
|---|---|
| App instance ID, Firebase installation ID and the installation identifier used for crash reports (randomly generated, not hardware identifiers; they change if you reinstall the game or clear its data) | Telling installations apart and counting how many devices a problem affects |
| Device and app information: model, OS version, language, screen information, app version, and the country or region derived from your IP address (coarse, not precise location) | Understanding which devices and regions the game runs in and how it performs there |
| In-game usage events, such as which wave and night a run reached, which upgrades were picked, boss results, when an ad button was shown or tapped and how it ended, and settings changes | Improving balance, difficulty and the tutorial tips |
| Crash and error reports: stack traces, the state of the device at the time (such as memory and OS version), and a little context (such as the current scene) | Finding and fixing crashes and errors |
- Not included: your name, email address, any text you type, or precise location.
- No advertising ID in Analytics: advertising ID collection and ad personalization signals are turned off in Analytics. Analytics and crash data is not used for ad profiling or ad targeting.
- You can turn it off at any time under Settings → Data collection. One switch covers both usage statistics and crash reporting, and nothing new is sent once it is off. Crash reports from while it was off are discarded, not sent later.
How Google handles this data is described here:
Apart from these Google services (AdMob, Google Analytics for Firebase and Firebase Crashlytics), the game contains no other third-party service that collects data. We do not sell your personal information.
3. Age requirement and minors
Monster Marbles is intended for users aged 13 and over and is not directed to children. If you are under 13, please do not use it. If the age of consent for processing personal data is higher where you live (for example 14 to 16 in parts of Europe) and you are below it, please agree to usage statistics only with the consent of a parent or guardian — or simply decline; the game works the same.
- We do not ask for or store your date of birth or exact age, and there is no account to register.
- All ad requests use conservative settings: they are tagged as coming from a user under the age of consent and the ad content rating is capped (see Google's explanation). With these settings Google does not serve personalized ads (interest-based advertising or remarketing); only non-personalized ads are shown.
- We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
Parents and guardians: if you have any question about your child's privacy in this game, email zhipingne@gmail.com and we will respond promptly.
4. How to reset or delete data
- Local save: uninstall the game, or clear it under Settings → Apps → Monster Marbles → Storage → Clear data. The save on your device is then permanently deleted. Because there is no cloud save, it cannot be recovered.
- Usage statistics and crash reports (withdrawing consent): turn them off under Settings → Data collection and nothing more is sent. Uninstalling or clearing the app's data replaces the random identifiers. Data already collected is deleted automatically when its retention period ends (see section 5). If you want it deleted sooner, email us and we will do our best to help; because this data is tied only to random identifiers, we may not be able to tell which of it is yours.
- Advertising ID: on Android, go to Settings → Google → Ads (on some devices Settings → Privacy → Ads) to reset or delete your advertising ID.
- Data held by Google: exercise your rights with Google as described in the Google Privacy Policy.
- Emails you sent us: ask us and we will delete them.
5. Data retention
- Local save: remains on your device until you clear it or uninstall the game.
- Usage statistics (Google Analytics): event data tied to the random identifiers is kept for at most 14 months and then deleted automatically by Google. Aggregated statistics that do not contain those identifiers may be kept longer.
- Crash reports (Firebase Crashlytics): kept for 90 days and then deleted by Google.
- Ad data collected by Google: retained under Google's own policies.
- Email: kept only as long as needed to handle your request.
6. Transfers and security
Ad data, and analytics and crash data, are sent over encrypted connections and processed by Google on servers around the world, which may be outside your country or region. No system is perfectly secure; if an incident affects your data we will notify you as the law requires.
7. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct or delete your personal information, or to object to or restrict its processing. You can withdraw your consent to usage statistics and crash reports at any time under Settings → Data collection and keep playing; to ask about or delete data already collected, email us (see section 4). Ad data is held by Google, so those requests need to go to Google. If you are unsure how, email us and we will help.
8. Changes to this policy
If the way the game handles data changes (for example, if an account or a new third-party service is added), we will update this page and the effective date above first. For significant changes, the game will ask you to confirm again.
